Kids Horseback Riding Program

Kids of all ages will have fun at the C Lazy U Ranch on a horseback riding vacation. We divide kids up into groups based on age: teens, youngsters age six to twelve, and kids three to five.

Teens (Ages 13-17): The teens have an action packed week filled with great adventures. From playing hide and seek in the willows to riding to the reservoir and going swimming, the teen will get to enjoy the best of riding. Riding times will be the same as the regular adult rides. Mustangs (Ages 6-12): The mustangs are assigned their own personal horse for the week. Throughout the week the kids will grow in their riding skills with great leadership from their counselor. Their horse rides are filled with adventure as they visit the ranch outlaw's hideaway, Shorty's Cabin, and make the myth of blue dot forest come to life. Cowpokes (Ages 3-5): The cowpokes don't get their own horse yet but are able to be led by our ranch pony named Katie.
