Adults on horseback riding vacations at C Lazy U spend a lot of time in the saddle!

Even barrel racing is part of the program for grownups on horseback riding vacations Just about anything goes in our Adult Horse Program at the C Lazy U. It's your horseback riding vacation, and we want it to be everything you your heart desires. Regular trail rides are scheduled daily -- sometimes twice daily -- and in addition to these you can schedule riding instructions to brush up on specific skills or time in our two arenas for specialized riding. Have you always dreamed of being a barrel racer? Make your dreams come true at the C Lazy U! Want to herd cattle or ride the range in chaps and cowboy hat? That is definitely on the agenda!

A Typical Week at the C Lazy U

The wranglers get an early start in order to take care of the guests on horseback riding vacations at C Lazy U

Monday through Friday
- Rides from 9:10am-12:30pm & 2:10pm-4:15pm
Wednesday
- Cow working morning and afternoon
- Will also be the regular morning and afternoon rides
Thursday
- All-day Ride
- Will also be the regular morning and afternoon rides
Friday
- Family Morning Ride
Saturday
- Ride from 9:10am-12:30pm
- Shodeo at 2:30 p.m.

Over the long and rich course of our history, the C Lazy U was the only guest ranch in North America to attain both the celebrated Five-Diamond and Five-Star ratings. However, due to changes in the grading system that would require us to incorporate certain commercial aspects to maintain our status, we have opted out as a rated resort since we felt those did not complement our unique western atmosphere. We are proud of our five star legacy and continue to honor its exceptional standards with what we term five "spur" service.

A portion of this operation is conducted on the Arapahoe National Forest under a special use permit from the U. S. Bureau of Land Management and the U. S. Forest Service.
