Our winter guest ranch vacation is world-famous for mountain scenery, skiing, winter horseback rides and unforgettable Holiday events. Our weather is surprisingly mild here at C Lazy U. The bright sunshine complements the snowy landscape with conditions that are comfortable for all of your outdoor winter adventures. Backcountry tours, snowshoeing, Nordic ski tours and ice skating are favorites with our guests - and major ski resorts are within close proximity. This winter we hope you will include some time in Colorado and a few special memories for you and your family at C Lazy U.

Ski Trips To Winter Park & Sol Vista Ski Resorts
The C Lazy U Ranch is very much a ski destination. Snow cat skiing on the ranch gives the guests private powder while also offering great ski packages to Winter Park and Sol Vista ski areas. The ranch offers curb to curb shuttle service to both Winter Park and Sol Vista Ski resorts. Prior to your arrival we will set you up with all the rental ski equipment you need for the week allowing you to hit the slopes as soon as you arrive. Also available to our guests are lessons at any of the ski resorts including at the new C Lazy U ski mountain. The ranch gives you the opportunity to enjoy great skiing while getting away from the hustle and bustle of the busy ski resorts.
Snow Cat Skiing & Ice Skating All Winter
With the addition of a Snow Cat and Zamboni machine, the C Lazy U Ranch can now provide you with endless winter activities! We can take you Snow Cat skiing or you can skate on the pond all winter long.

C Lazy U Guest Ranch, in the heart of the Rocky Mountain West, returns to life’s simple pleasures during the holidays: sleigh rides, sledding, and Christmas tree decorating with family and friends. ChristmasEach of the ranch’s rustic, elegant suites comes complete with a Christmas tree and decorations. The in-house gourmet chef prepares a complete Christmas dinner where each family is served a turkey to carve and all of the traditional fixings. Christmas carols are sung around the grand piano and crackling fire, while Santa pays a visit on a horse-drawn sleigh.
Year’s Eve
Bring in the New Year at our traditional western-swing dance; tighten your scarf for torch lit ice skating or a moonlight cross-country ski tour. Celebrate two midnight countdowns and a live band.
